Governance




 

The Military Highway Water Supply Corporation is governed by a Board elected from the membership and responsible for the overall policy and management of the Corporation.

Board Meetings - The Board of Directors meet on the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Corporation Main Office Board Room in Relampago at 4000 US Highway 281.

Directors - There are eleven Board Members elected from the membership at the annual membership meeting in March according to the established election procedures.

Board Meeting Agenda - Notice of the meetings of the Board of Directors shall include posting of the meeting as required by the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Board Meeting Minutes - The Secretary/Treasurer keeps all Corporation Board Meeting Minutes.

Board Ethics Policy - The Board of Directors shall adopt and maintain a Conflict of Interest Policy designed to promote the business of the Corporation and serve the interests of the membership.

Corporation Bylaws - The Bylaws are the rules by which the Corporation operates.

Management Plan - Respective roles in governance are defined.

Annual Membership Meeting - The Annual Membership Meeting is held on the last Sunday in March of every year.

Annual Meeting and Elections Procedures - Process to conduct annual membership meeting and to elect members to the Board of Directors.
